35 weeks!

I have finally reached 35 weeks! This little boy could be here anytime between now and April 3rd. But the Dr. said if he decides not to come by April 10th, then that is when I will be induced! I'm really excited for Braxton to come! His room is all finished, minus really small details. My little sisters friend bought us a carseat, with our tax return money we were able to buy the stroller we really wanted(Yep, a Jeep stroller!) and a crib, and we have a changing table and a little shelving unit. He kicks so much its really hard to take naps and sleep, plus the heartburn has gotten worse, and not being able to get comfortable. Its really awesome. But it is all going to be worth it in just a short time! Then at least I won't get sleep because of him crying, but will be able to hold him. My feet, ankles, hands and legs are swollen now. Won't be able to wear my wedding ring until after. My back hurts pretty much all the time, if I sit for too long or stand/walk around too long.....

I got my gallbladder out on Dec. 28th. It was an adventure. If I hadn't of had the surgery I could have risked having preterm labor if I had a really bad flare up. But also having the surgery there was a chance of that as well. I was really hesitant. I had never had surgery before so I was scared, but having surgery being pregnant I was terrified. I trusted the Dr. but my nerves got the best of me. Everything of course went fine. The Dr. said the surgery went "too well." Not really sure how to take that but at least it went too well, rather than not good. Brent took really good care of me during my recovery. I have three scars now, the one just above my belly button was the most painful, it was where they actually pulled out the gallbladder. Braxton thought it was funny to push and kick right on that spot. Ya, it really hurt. But I am glad I got it out, and now I don't have to stay away from cheese or fattening foods.

Brent has been able to get parts he needs for the Cherokee aka The Hulk, and is really wanting the snow to melt so he can work on getting it running so we can sell the wrangler and save money every month. Hopefully he can get most of it done before Braxton comes.

Isn't that just a perfect profile picture! Love him!

I think that about sums up what has been going on with us. Nothing too exciting. I will keep you all updated on when this little guy makes his appearance!

  1. Aww Fish, Braxton is going to be the cutest and I can't wait to meet the little guy! You've been super busy and boy oh boy how true it is: pregnancy is NOT a fun walk in the park. You are a champ! Keep up the good work little mama.
