The past 3 months......

Well hello.
I apologize for not posting for a long time.... Things haven't been too crazy, but we don't have internet at the house yet so I have to wait til I visit my family or the in-laws. So I guess I will do some updating... not that there is much to update on  but here it goes:

• We closed on our house on April 26th of this year. It has been so great to have our own space and not have to worry about being too loud to wake up the neighbors. We love it. I want to paint the walls a different color now that we have been with the same color on all the walls for three months. We still have all the yard work to conquer... which might not be able to be finished or even started this year. I will post some pictures of the house later, for those of you who have not seen it yet.
• The last few weeks of May were pretty difficult. Started off with my Grandpa Garison passing away, the same day as our housewarming party and my mom being laid off. I will miss my Grandpa terribly. He suffered from Alzheimer's and was getting pretty bad. I go to see him a month before he left this earth. He didn't remember who I was, but at least I got to be with him. I love you Grandpa. Then Brent's dad got laid off. All of this happened within five days of each other. We were tested, but thank goodness for Stake Conference. We needed the spiritual uplifting that it brought us.
• My little sister, Cassie, moved in with us. Its been good, she is hardly there, but its nice to have someone there when I am there all alone. She keeps the downstairs clean and even cooks us dinner!
• My little niece who turned one a few weeks ago, started walking! Its really cute!
• We are both actively searching for new jobs. When I went back to Urban Wear, I told her I would stay there til the end of summer, because I need a job that makes more money so we can start putting money away for our future plans. Brent just needs a change, a job where his knowledge of energy can be used and applied. One not so physically demanding. 
• We love our new ward. Its really small and quaint. We got asked if we would speak in Sacrament, we got asked last Sunday, and spoke yesterday. Not a lot of prep time, but it went well and we are glad to have it over. At least for a little while. 
• It seems like everyone is pregnant. And I am really jealous. I am really baby hungry. But we are trying so we will see how it works out :)
• It is extremely hot in our house. Downstairs is nice and cool, but upstairs is a sauna. We haven't gotten our swamp cooler hooked up and everything. It will be nice when we finally can stand to be in upstairs for longer than 5 min.
