Well work for both of us has been..... ok. Brent told Discount he wanted to go full time, but nothing has really happened thus far, to help him get there. So, he was offered a part time job as a Sales Associate for our new insurance company, thanks to our awesome new insurance agent!(Jeremiah :)) So he is reading alot and working towards doing that. It will give us a few extra bucks a month which will help. I just hope Brent will be able to find a job in the field he actually graduated in..... Keep your fingers crossed!
As for me at good old Urban Wear.... Things could be better. When I start school in a few weeks, I will only be working at most three days a week..... Which isn't so great. So I have continued to look for a job, one that will let me still work full time, have the weekends off and pay much better. But alas. No luck so far. Sigh, soon enough. Yesterday I received a $0.35 raise for being there a year. Woot. I don't mind working there, if it wasn't a retail job and everything.. But I am way excited to start school in a few weeks! It'll be nice to learn stuff again, and learn about things I actually like to learn about. Now just to find a way to buy the books..
Having two cars has been nice. Very nice. Now we can both go to work without having to find ways for it to work with just one car. I'm sure Brent can't wait to have his car back though. Once we find more time for me to learn stick, then I can drive my car!
I'm so grateful to have so many trials, ones that are difficult and try my faith, because they only make us stronger and more dependent on the Lord. The past few days have not been very fun, we have both been super stressed about money and how to make it stretch, but when we take time to ready the scriptures and pray, it makes those trials seem so much more bearable. I love being able to learn from the scriptures, and what Brent learned on his mission, and I LOVE LOVE listening to Brent read in Czech. Its the coolest language I have ever heard, and hearing the words of Prophets in that language, gives me goosebumps. I know we will have our fair share of trials, small or big, but relying on the Lord is what gives us the strength to make them seem lighter to carry, or make them go away completely. I'm so grateful for the knowledge we have in this great Church, and knowing the things we know. And for an amazing Husband who carries the Priesthood. I just know that things will start looking up, we just need to have faith that the Lord knows what is best, and that He will never give us anything that we can't handle.
Well, til next time. Thanks for listening to my ranting :)
